The Second Working Group of the Japan-Jordan Public-Private Joint Committee

1. On October 28, 2026, the Second Working Group of the Japan-Jordan Public-Private Joint Committee was held in Amman, Jordan.
2. This Working Group was held as a follow-up to the agreement to establish the Committee reached at the Japan-Jordan Summit Meeting in November 2025, as well as the Japan-Jordan Public-Private Joint Committee held in February 2026, following the First Meeting of the Working Group.
3. During the Working Group, participants exchanged views on the issues faced by business communities and the progress made in addressing them to enhance the business environment. In addition, the Jordanian side provided explanations regarding the country's investment environment and business opportunities. Furthermore, both sides confirmed that they would continue to cooperate closely toward further strengthening economic relations and creating concrete cooperation between Japan and Jordan.
4. From the Japanese side, Japanese companies operating in Jordan, relevant organizations, and the Embassy of Japan in Jordan participated in the Working Group. From the Jordanian side, representatives from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the relevant Ministries and institutions from public and private sector attended the meeting.
